Running for charity

Team TymeOnline is participating in the Blackburn 10k run in December, in support of children’s charity Derian House.

We’ve been inspired by a friend of our company, nine-year old Jeffrey. He has the rare and incurable genetic condition of Battens Disease, which causes seizures and progressively reduces the ability to walk, talk and see. Yet, he and his family have been making incredible memories together with the support of Derian House.

The care they and some 400 other families receive is free to them, but it costs Derian House £6 million a year to provide it – and only 30% of that is covered by Government funding. The charity is otherwise dependent on the generosity of donors.

We want to do our little bit to thank the charity for their amazing work by raising as much as we can through our sponsored run – and we’re already training hard.

Please support us – and Derian House – by donating whatever you can give, through our Just Giving page.
