B&Q Marketplace now Click & Collects!

B&Q Marketplace has gone live with its Click & Collect functionality for third-party marketplace sellers of home improvement brands – in select stores in the mainland UK for now but with full rollout to follow.

This new feature allows any products sold through B&Q Marketplace – not just B&Q’s own inventory – to be made available for in-store pickup, as fast as ‘same day’.

This is a major step towards full retail functionality online. Most excitingly, it gives online sellers the chance to gain that certain kudos associated with the solid presence of a large physical store,  and to upsell ‘extras’ to visiting customers.
